Hommework Turned One!!

Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed our little party last Saturday - despite the weather and Thanksgiving activities. We had a great time, and it was great to see everyone who came. We had a few minor errors, but at the end of the night, we were happy and the event was a success. We hope those of you lucky first 40 that received Hommework bags are loving your new scarves and bags and putting them to good use. For those of our loyal customers that didn't receive one, no worry we are making more & will let you know when they are available.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported our store this past year. We could not have done it with out you all, and we wouldn't be celebrating one year of success if it wasn't for each and every one of you. We heart you!!!

One a more serious note, we cannot thank you enough for your support this past year. We are so fortunate to have such great people shopping with us. Without you, we would not be celebrating this awesome milestone in our business. We went into this not knowing what to expect and how people would react to our concept and our expectations were beyond exceeded. We always knew our wonderful city was ready to embrace a more fashion forward concept. Despite the naysayers, we moved forward with the idea and you supported us and for that, we thank you. NOW, LET'S PARTY!

We are fast approaching our 1 year anniversary here at Hommework, and I will be the first to say this has not been an easy ride. We've had to dig deep into our hearts for that tiny ounce of inspiration and hope to continue on. Sometimes reading something as simple as what is down below has helped light our flame again. No matter what your challenges in life may be, remember that things always get better and hard work always pays off.
